Açaí is a small berry of the açaí palm, which grows exclusively in the Amazon. After harvesting, it must be quickly pulped and consumed or frozen to preserve its characteristics and nutritional value.
This berry is rich in antioxidants, fatty acids (omegas 6 and 9) and contains mineral salts. Antioxidants are important in combating the action of free radicals, responsible for cell aging.
Fatty acids play a very important role in fighting inflammation, so they should be ingested regularly.
